Bored out of my mind! Help me find a hobby

I like productive hobbies, hobbies that yield something useful. Something I can do in the house please.

I'm so boring. I workout daily (a quick 10 minute workout). I have a list of recipes which I'm working through, I love food and finding good fakeaway recipes (hard as a vegetarian though).

Knitting and crochet spring to mind but I just don't like the look of the things produced and yarn is so expensive.

Please help, I'm desperate

I've just signed up to Open University. They have loads of free courses to do,some short and some long. I'm doing an 8 week course atm. There is a lot to choose from. Its keeping me occupied.

I do cross stitch but do the cushions so at least they are something useful (to me).
Also did a solar system picture for ds room.

How about quilting? I'd love to get into that.

Felt making is quicker than knitting or crochet and you can make flat pieces or 3d. It takes a bit of practice to make a decent needle felted animal or whatever but they are cute. Loads of kits, ideas and guides online. Making a felt landscape picture is super simple for starters. Merino wool is a good one to start with, nice and soft.

Both my 9 year old daughter and I love needle felting

Does knitting or crochet produce better things?

What paint do you use on the pebbles. They’re lovely 😊 . And where do you get the pebbles? I would love to have a go and leave them for people to find.

I’ve been entertaining myself with:
Jigsaws
Cross stitch
Sudoku
Nintendo Switch (I only play Zelda - which I adore and can get lost in for hours)
Scratch Art (donated by my son and I really enjoy it)
I bought a Romeo & Juliet doodling edition - you colour it, draw in it, stick things in it
I also fancy having a go at watercolour painting
