After my DD was born I noticed in the mornings my front teeth felt a bit funny and my jaw was clicky. I went to the dentist and got a night guard.

Fast forward to now and my top front teeth and have a considerable amount. I googled and realised that I was tongue thrusting in my sleep. I don't know how to stop it and im really really worried. I was meant to have an appt in march but that obviously didn't take place and I have noone to ask for help. How do I stop tongue thrusting in my sleep?! I don't do it during the day. I don't know what to do.

Not if it was small, a lot of the time they are there for years and not noticed. A cyst isnt anything to worry about. Its still quite unusual for a cyst though.

If it really is tongue thrusting the only thing I can think of is to swap to an upper gaurd, but obviously you cant do that now.

Children with open bites have been put down to tomgue thrusting, but a lot of the literature disagrees
