There was a series of long running threads on here many years ago by a poster whose neighbours built a (not very) tiny house in their garden and then rented the main house out as a house of multiple occupancy. This was a terraced house in London. The neighbours didn't have planning permission, claimed that the garden house was a gym and the local council didn't seem bothered about enforcing the law. It sounded hideous for the poor poster (MrsDeVeere's gymbalow if anyone remembers it). I think there were about 20 young men living in the main house by the end and it completely changed the ambiance of the street.

Yes, UK. We get a walk each day, but it's not nearly for long enough because dh and I are WFH. I found another thread with HIIT recommendations on, so hopefully that will help her Smile

I do love tiny houses though!

Krakow, do you have anywhere nice to walk near you ?
I haven’t even been on walk today, I might go round the block in a bit but I’m shattered

I remember MrsDeVere’s neighbour’s gymbalow. Did the council never stop it?

My parents did this. They make a killing. Like £1000 a week in Summer. It's not even in the garden, it's the old integral garage and the room above.
Also, my first house was 1950s ex council with a big garden. Every other house on the road had a small garden and another house on the land. People bought the houses, built in the gardens and sold 2 houses.
