Going for a jog/run if you have a pelvic organ prolapse. Is it possible without causing further damage?

Hope this is ok here. I was going to post in women's health but the board is very quiet.

I had two children 15 months apart wwhich took its toll on my body and I now have a mild/moderate cystocele.

It doesn't cause me any problems. No discomfort and no incontinence. It remains to be internal and isn't protruding. I wouldn't know it was there if I didn't already know about it.

I've read that running is off limits as it can make things worse but I'm not yet 30 and I'm a bit sad that I may never be able to exercise that way again.

I could do with shifting a few lbs and really miss having a leisurely jog around the park.

Does anybody here have slight pelvic organ prolapse and still run? Is it an absolute blanket no?

No, I was advised not to, so walk or cycle instead. I got over it Wink

I thought that would be the answer. It was wishful thinking on my part. I think I'll invest in a bicycle.

My nether regions are pretty much doomed then because I regularly have to run after my two Blush
