Nexplanon implant worked for me. I was a slave to my cycle, now I'm not. On my third implant and wished I'd known about it in my 20's.

Taking more vitamin D helped me hugely with this! I was feeling really low but also unbelievably angry with everyone and everything. I read somewhere on here that vitamin D can help and it really did.

Magnesium, and I don't get the intense sugar or chocolate craving any more either.

Regular exercise, a varied diet and a range of vitamins. Oh, and prioritising sleep!

Watching with interest. You’re definitely not alone OP

3 Brazil nuts daily for snacks, marmite on toast. I kid you not.

Gosh: watching with interest too

Thanks so far everyone. I have been taking vitamin D which doesn’t seem to solve it and an occasional magnesium spray but will try other solutions mentioned too. Looking forward to more suggestions

Charting it and recognising it for what it is. I.e. the kids/DH/colleague are not more annoying and you are not less competent or however it manifests itself, you know that it's the hormones and it will pass. Feels like you can establish a bit more control over it as a mental exercise.

Then also up the iron levels for fatigue, vitamin D and exercise when you feel able

TwilightPeace · 20/04/2020 20:21

Omega 3 can help balance hormones and lessen PMS symptoms. Worth a try.

Thelnebriati · 22/04/2020 20:12

Take a magnesium tablet every day, don't worry if its magnesium citrate or not as there's no evidence its any better. Give it a month and see if there's any improvement - I started to feel better after 14 days.

MoMandaS · 22/04/2020 20:23

Magnesium and B vitamins daily, or near enough - try Magnesium-OK

peajotter · 22/04/2020 20:25

Place marking as this is me too.
