Advice on potty training in lockdown

Hi everyone

I hope you're all managing ok at home

My 2 year old had her birthday early feb. We've had a potty for months which I've just left in the living room so she can get used to at least seeing it.

Last week she was running round in the nude and I encouraged her to sit on it and do a pee which she did. We made a big fuss of her and now she does every pee on the potty amazingly without having to be asked to sit on it.

But she won't wear trousers at all. Even loose pj bottoms which pull down easily. She'll just wet herself without sitting on the potty or asking me to take them off.

I've bought toy story and peppa pig knickers which she loves but won't wear and if she does she'll just pee with them on

Obviously she doesn't get told off at all but I do say oh darling you need to ask mummy to take them off to do a wee in the potty

Because of lockdown and living in a flat with no garden we haven't left her house in so long I can't even remember how many weeks! So her being all day til bed time is fine.

But what do we do when we do go out?

Do I take a potty with me? What about in big open spaces and places it's not really appropriate or no toilets?

How do I get her used to wearing underwear and trousers and to take them off?

Sorry for the essay and all the questions but just wondered what the next step is now she's confidently using the potty to pee without being reminded

She does poo on the floor and not the potty though and if I catch her before she starts I put her on the potty but she just won't go on there. Sometimes she'll ask for a nappy to poo

Thank you
