We like the lyclear one that stays on overnight.

And then use a nitty gritty comb to get rid of all eggs. Then for the next 2 weeks use the nitty gritty to check for any bastards that survived.

It's best to treat the whole family, even if some appear to have not been infected.

NHS advice says nits are largely immune to lotions now, so regular combing is the only way.

Hedrin gel. You leave it on for 15 mins. We then use the nitty gritty comb as well then wash out.

Sure fire way to get rid is to straighten the hair.
The lice and eggs can't survive the heat.

Nitty gritty here too. Every few days for a couple of weeks

There really is no need to put toxic chemicals on your kids. Just smother the hair in conditioner and comb through with a nitty gritty comb.
You will need to do it every night for at least a week then every other night for another week to be sure.
I also used to use the straighteners on DDs long hair to fry the little buggers.

I found Nitwits alongside the nitty gritty to be the most effective in our house.

At the start of lockdown I found lice in my sons hair so we got the clippers out and shaved off his beautiful brown hair. After a traumatising experience with my twin girls last year, I wasn't taking any chances and lockdown is the perfect time for that kind of approach as it'll grown nicely before the world sees him 😂

Good luck

Conditioner, comb and a teaspoon to crush the little sods.

We use Hedrin lotion stuff. It says to leave it on for 15 mins but I tend to leave it on for an hour! Then very careful combing with a nitty gritty comb. We never used to get them when I sprayed the children on a daily basis with the Nitty Gritty repellent spray - works a treat to prevent the buggers arriving in the first place!
