Is anyone waiting on finding out school places tomorrow?

The government has confirmed this is still going ahead, is anyone else waiting to find out a primary school place?

Just logged on to check and we got first choice so DD2 can stay with her current cohort and go to the same juniors as her sister. Was fairly sure we would get in with sibling priority reinstated here but with the out of catchment aspect I was never certain (we had tried the catchment school for DD1 and it was a disaster of a year before we moved her)

I just checked and I can't find nothing, and I did not receive any email yet.
I m a bit worried 😯

DD has been offered our 1st choice of primary 🤩🤩🤩

I am waiting to hear for DS.
Woken up by DD and now can't sleep, Ours said available to see from 09.30.

Don't worry if yours aren't up yet. With having two close in age and having to do infant-junior as well I just know from experience ours come up early by the standards of other areas.

@YodaEveryday The catchment school is obliged to take you (bar one or two exceptions in a small handful of super popular schools).

It can mean funny catchment areas for new houses for a while until things shake out.

My niece's year has 4 classes as it was a bumper year group. Every other year in the school has 2 classes at most.

Which app are you all using please?

No app. Same website that you applied on or an email. Mine came through at 3 (Essex).

We are excited to find out if ds2 got into the same school as ds1. Lool, it is something positive to look forward to. We will find out this evening.

I'm waiting too, no email but just checked FB and other mums in the area have heard. Fingers crossed on the sibling rule as my DD is already at the school we want for DS. We are out of catchment for the preferred school. I can log into the portal to check, but cant remember my password and password resets take up to 24 hrs... DOH xx
I wouldn't mind, but I have been up most the night checking...…

First choice for DC1 to go to the same school as her siblings. We are out of catchment and we had first place on the waiting list for DC2 - luckily someone didn't take a place so she started in September as normal. Relieved today that we are not in the same situation again.

I've not logged on to check as I can't for the life of me remember my login details but the info I received a few days ago said we'd get an email in the afternoon!

Seria it will completely depend on your area. Ours doesn’t use an app; website login and email only. Check your local authority’s admissions website.

No email here yet.. and no indication on the website what time we will hear.. will just have to keep manically refreshing my emails

It's a bit annoying that all LAs have to release on the same day but can choose totally different times. Mine won't be online till 5.

But we live in a village with an under subscribed school that is 50m away so it should be a done deal!
