How long should it take to pressure wash a patio for God's sake?

Every year about this time our nearby neighbours pressure wash their patio. It seems to take them the better part of a weekend, and oh joy they spent all day yesterday working on it. The noise drives me crazy. Normally I can escape for part of the day to go shopping or something but obviously not this year. So they finished late yesterday afternoon having ruined the garden for me on the nicest sunny days we've had recently, fine. Today I come out of the shower to th he sound of a pressure washer starting up in my neighbours garden in the other side. This was 9am and they are still going. Does it really take

Oh wow, I've always fancied a go with a pressure washer but I'm far too lazy for hours of work. I had no idea it took so long, my neighbours are safe Wink

My patio is about 20' x 8'. I had someone round to clean it the other day, and he charged £35 and took an hour and a half. He had the proper equipment, so only needed the fine spray for the edges, then a round buffer attachment to do the rest of each slab.
Why anyone would buy a cheap pressure wash and spend a whole weekend doing the most tedious job ever, I don't know.

Yes it can easily take this long. I’ve a big patio round the house, and a long path and this year it took me three days, of about four/five hours a day. I only do it once a year though and we aren’t disturbing any one.
