Toddler shampoo/detangle spray

Not sure were to ask this but can anyone recommend a good toddler shampoo?

Dd is 2. Her hair is thin but frizzy if that makes sense. The only way i can really describe it, it looks like it has been back combed. Takes ages to comb which she hates. Then with in a few hours it looks a mess again. If not washed every day it looks dirty/greasy.

Iv tried combs brushes, Johnson's baby shampoo baby conditioner, dove shampoo and a two in one shampoo.

At the moment i get in the bath with her to comb her hair whilst it has shampoo in, then sit her in her highchair once dry to comb again.

Do the de tangle sprays work? She has never had it cut but am tempted to cut it.

Sounds just like my DD at that age. You need to condition her hair and use a tangle teezer Smile

Don't shampoo it at all unless she's rubbed biscuits and butter into it OP. I never found detangling sprays worked...the best thing is to use conditioner and detangle in the bath.

Then rinse it and let it dry naturally without brushing it further.

Don't comb it with shampoo...don't use shampoo...just conditioner. Try it and you'll see how much better it gets.

We use a tangle teezer brush and this spray from Avon

Wet & dry brushes are brilliant just go through thick wet hair so easily, I also have a tangle teaser brush, that isn’t so good with my hair as I have really thick hair.

We make our own detangle spray out of water and a bit of conditioner. DD has the same hair and we just put it in plaits every day.

her hair looks long enough to tie up.
put in in a pony tail for most of the time.
don't bother with detangle sprays. leave in conditioner after a bath and a de-tangle brush work best.

The child's farm detangling spray is brilliant. We've tried loads, this is the best I've found and even my 13 yo still uses it occasionally

Thank you all

I tried just washing with conditioner and so far so good, nice and soft and could get the comb through without any problems Grin

Il have a look at some different combs. The real test will be when she wakes up in the morning.

It just about goes up into a pony tail but it grows at different speeds so there is a lot of different lengths.

She will not sit still for a plait.

From about 3yrs i had very curly/frizzy hair that was a nightmare to brush so I'm hoping hers isn't the same.

Make sure her hair has air dried completely before she goes to bed. ANY bit of dampness can cause tangles. If it is tangled, just mist it with a bit of water and conditioner.
