Third baby, car and buggy recommendations

I’m pregnant with a surprise third baby Shock. DD is 4 and DS is 1. The age gap will be just under 2 years.
To save me freaking out too much more, I’ve already gone into planning mode.
I’m looking at cars to fit 3 isofix seats. Eldest in a high back booster, both babies will be in baby seats obv. my preference would be to have all 3 kids in the one row. Is a Citroen bus type car my only option? Also anyone have any ideas how to muster up about £8k towards it?
Secondly I’m looking at ideas for a double buggy. Would like carrycot/insert able to parent face and other seat world facing. Have seen a Cossato that allows this tandem style but wondering if I’m missing anything else that would suit. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Might not quite fit your spec but check out the Phil and Ted's sport

Thanks Stop. Looks good but not what I’m looking for. Just happened across the mountain buggy duo which might be a contender with a cocoon for the baby

I think the out n about nipper double allows you to have carrycot parent facing and other child world facing

WRT car, no specific recommendations but watch out for cars that have storage compartments in the floor of the back row. These interfere with the legs on isofix seats and make them unsafe.

This site (which is run by a car seat specialist retailer) reckons the combination of 2x rear facing + 1x high back booster is doable in a normal car, depending on the car and the seats. There are some boosters which are narrower than others - Britax Adventure, Maxi Cosi Rodi, Besafe izi Flex Fix for three suggestions at different price points, the booster is likely to be the cheapest one to replace if you need to. You will often get more space if you fit the infant carrier off the base rather than on it. Just be careful when the 4yo undoes their seat that they are not accidentally undoing the baby's seat as well!

It might be worth going to the specialist retailer list on that website and locating your closest, once lockdown is over booking an appointment with one to see if you can fit your current seat combination in your current car or whether their suggestion is new seat(s) or a new car.

Thanks dog. Spent a while searching last night and quite fancy the the mountain buggy duo or duet with the attached cocoon/carrycot. I’m
Trying to weigh up the best option between buying a twin with option for newborn that I imagine we use a year max, then going back to a pushchair we already own or buying a new tandem which can be used either double or single and continuing to use that once DS no longer needs the buggy.

Thanks Bertie for the advice. I probably wasn’t detailed enough in my OP. We currently have a Clio which feels squashy even with the high back booster and baby seat. We can’t fit an adult in the middle at the moment. Also as we’ll need a double/twin pushchair there’s not chance that will fit in the boot of our current car. It’s a struggle to get a single travel system type pushchair in just now. I was thinking a people carrier would give an option also for being able to fit my mum or other family members in too.

We can’t really afford a third it seems!
