Never heard of this until I met dh. This seems to be a thing that has passed me by all my life. How normal is it to send Easter cards?

We get them from churchgoing friends and family, I send them one back, but don't bother with sending them to anybody else.

I gave them to my DC and godchildren with their Easter gifts but that's it. This year I had one left in the pack so sent it to my Grandma. Realistically, I might never see my grandma again, and she has no contact with other people, so, if I hadn't sent her an Easter card, I might have sent her something else in the next few days to keep in touch and so she knows we are thinking of her(yes, I know there is a risk of passing on coronavirus on the post, but maybe she leaves it a few days and washes her hands carefully after opening). I am Catholic and so do celebrate Easter in a religious sense.
We don't receive any, probably because we don't know anyone else who is religious. My parents sent us one this year, but I don't think they usually do.
