Booking flights for next year

Anyone considering flights for next year? I'm tempted by a holiday deal for March- it's £60 deposit each or £60 flights only so as well booking the whole thing at once and having ABTA protection. Not sure if I'm daft, I know it's a gamble but at least it's something to look forward to.

I know insurance wont cover, I can't get it anyway. My biggest worry is Brexit yet again tbh! Am I being foolish to hope this might all be over by then?

depends where it's too and what the cancellation clauses are. I've moved easyjet flights to a March Trip.

I'd lose the money, its within Europe and only £240 all in each so not a massive amount. If I didnt pay the balance in January it would be cancelled and I'd lose the £120 combined deposit but that's all. It seems more sensible if I'm gambling 60 quid to gamble on a package deal than just flights iyswim as accommodation works out quite cheap and theres some limited protection if the airline goes bust.

I'm debating booking flights for February half term. I can't make up my mind whether to just go for it or whether I'd be stupid too.

I've looked too but I think I'm going to wait . We are heading into a global recession, Chuck Brexit into the mix . We don't know if the air lines or holiday companies will survive yet . Then will the resorts / Hotels still be going . It's to early to tell x

Will credit card/abta not kick in if I buy it as a package though? Of course I could lose my job, but I can afford the 60 quid if that's all that is at stake.
