I know its boring, but I'm getting a bit stressed out now.

Late February I ordered 2 pairs of ice skates online (because sizing is so peculiar with figure skates). Cost per pair was £200 plus postage.

I had 14 days to return in original condition, which I did. Fully tracked, signed for.

The were signed for according to Royal mail. This at the time Covid kicked off and shops were shutting.

The money wasn't refunded. I emailed the shop owner and said could I have 2 new items (total cost £50) and refund the remainder into my account. He said fine, he would do it. This was 11 March.

Still no additional items and still no refund. I've emailed him again.

I paid with a credit card.

What do I do now? I can't afford to lose £200.

He may very well have shut shop and you aren't likely to get a refund until after the lock down is relaxed. I'd keep on top of it. Keep evidence that you paid and that he had signed for the returns. Does he have a number you can try?

A@SpencerReidsMistress Yes, but no answer. I imagine the shop is closed for the foreseeable. The reviews of the website say it's an excellent shop and good prices on the goods, but shocking at slow deliveries and refunds. Only saw that after I ordered. Service was fine, just this.
