Really struggling to come up with any solutions with this one
She lost her daughter in January before all this kicked off so didn't go out much before hand but now she's stuck in her flat 24/7 with only the phone and a small tv for company
Other than ringing her and sending her photo prints I'm ordering I'm not sure if there's anything else I can do ?
Must be absolutely sole destroying

What sort of vision loss does she have? If it's macular degeneration she'll have lost her central vision, which makes reading more difficult. But, it it's glaucoma (for example) it will be mainly peripheral vision - so the outside bit and central vision is often good, so normal print books are fine.

The RNIB runs a service for large print books, that are delivered to your door. I don't know if it's working at the moment, but you can call them later. They also offer talking books on CD, so if she has a CD player that would work - or you could send her one from amazon.

I'm not sure
She refused to go and get new glasses , she has a lot of issues which would be easily resolved such as hearing loss too but she refuses any help
I wonder if you can get very large print crosswords etc
