Do you think I should have had a text/letter and be in the shielding group?

I was expecting to receive a letter. I was diagnosed with MS over 20 years ago and haven't received one. I'm advised to have the flu jab every year.

And this is exactly why I haven't ordered any shopping on line. For me, if I am able to go out for shopping I feel I should be leaving those slots free for those who can't go out

@Clymene You can get one or the other, I think. I was getting the priority delivery slots but no box, and no medication. I don't think it is both delivery slots and box.

I have had my delivery reinstated but still cannot get the medication at the moment. Thankfully have an emergency pack.

My family member is getting both @BraveLittleDragon.

And medication too but that is always delivered as it needs to be refrigerated

@Clymene Good to know - my medication used to be delivered too but now they are saying there is none in stock for 4 weeks.

4 weeks?! Do you have enough to keep you alive in the meantime?

@Clymene Sort of - I am doubling up on another medication (with the guidance of a consultant), but yes it's a bit nuts and quite scary.

@QueenoftheIceAge - my friend is in the category to receive a letter as her daughter is chronically ill (often in and out of hospitals on ventilation etc) and she is receiving a weekly food parcel from the government. It looks ok - nothing extravagant in there (pasta, pasta sauce, beans etc) but it is enough to feed them and keep them going whilst they can't go out. Maybe your friend is angry because she has not got her parcel yet?
