My mum died earlier this year and he is heartbroken at home. My sister and I live in different cities to him and each other.

He loves films from 50s and 60s but I can't find anywhere that shows them. I've searched ROKU, Prime, Netflix etc. Can anyone please help?

The BBC have all the Ealing comedies at the moment.

Bfi player definitely. Lots of free as well additional to rent and a subscription service.

Shit website though so depending on how computer literate he is you might want to link him to individual pages.

Flowers thanks so much.

It's brutal he is on his own and heartbroken.

I'm going to see if he's up for Ice Cold in Alex together.

I'm going to video chat later with your suggestions to see if we can get set up.

It's been a tough couple of weeks. He is so utterly broken but this will give him something to look forward to. WineGinFlowers

If he has facetime/WhatsApp/house party/zoom, you and your sister could join him watching the film together, so he doesn't feel so alone. In the same way Doctor Who fans all watched the same film at a particular time. A quick chat before and after the film and he knows you are watching it with him.

He sent a picture and we've sent selfies back. We are going to group chat on WhatsApp (this is what he wants). He has put us off for today.
