Chipped my tooth! What do I do?!

A massive chunk of one of my molars just came off! It's very sharp in my mouth and I'm not sure what to do in the current situation. Are dentists still open? Any advice greatly appreciated!

Call 111 and ask them.

Yes, 111 have an option for dental enquiries as there are dental hubs being set up round the country

If you are not in pain it isnt urgent and sharp edges often smooth a little quite quickly

I had a filling done by dentist 3 weeks ago, it chipped last week and fell out completely yesterday. I've put some temporary filling from boots in it as read on here is no chance of getting it fixed....

My dentist is still open but only for emergency appointments on certain days

A couple of weeks ago I broke a back molar. It didn't hurt so I just got on with it.
Last night on the opposite side of my mouth my crown fell off.
That's not hurting either but I am very worried about it. It happened before years ago and the dentist just rinsed it of and glued it back in so I have ordered an emergency dental kit off amazon.

Thanks everyone! Can anyone link me to a good emergency dental kit?

At the moment your symptoms would not meet the criteria to be seen at a hub (if indeed there is one oprating in your region yet.
The main aim will be to stop the sharp edge making either your tongue or chhek sore so either using a temporary filling on it, a small nail file can be used to round it off or if you have some chewing gum over the edge if it.
If it's sensitive a bit of sensitive toothpaste rubbed onto it several times a day will help.
If it's not sensitive keep it really clean by brushing it well and make sure you removed any food trapped in it.
The hubs will be very limited in what they see, each case will take an hour to turnaround the surgery so they will only see really acute stuff that hasn't responded to home care, pain relief and antibiotics if necessary.
