Push bike or stabilisers?

We're looking for a 2nd birthday present for our daughter, and thinking about either (a) a 2-in-1 push tricycle/bike (no pedals), or (b) a 12 inch bike with stabilisers.

Extra info: daughter was a late walker, and not especially coordinated.

Which is better? I've always thought push bikes were a bit pointless, but I do see children enjoying them. Maybe stabilisers will be a bit tricky for a little one? Which would you buy?

Sounds like a perfect combo OP. The perfect number of bikes is n+1, where n is the number of bikes you already have. Or in our case 4(n+1), as the dc now come too.
