Hand cream

Because of washing my hands and using hand sanitizer so much my hands are in a complete state. Particularly around my knuckles which are all cracked and bleeding. My mum gave me some e45 cream to help but now my hands have come out in lots of tiny spots which are so itchy so I think it’s made them worse. Can anyone recommend hand cream that’s good for very sensitive skin?

Baby moisturiser Child's Farm. I have pump bottles in every bathroom. A little goes a long way.

A nurse recommended O'Keeffe's Working Hands Hand Cream, but haven't tried it yet and not sure whether it's good for sensitive skin

I use O'keefes on my sensitive hands without a problem. However I don't think it's the best there is, Neutrogena unscented which you can get in supermarkets is my favourite.

Moo Goo do an Irritable Skin Balm. It's amazing, non greasy, doesn't sting and makes a difference from the first time you use it.

It's the only thing DD has allowed me to rub into her little chapped hands without wincing.

O'Keeffe's is very good - has sorted my hideously dry, cracked hands out brilliantly.

Norwegian formula unscented

Aveeno works best for me. If it’s difficult to find the little tubes of specific hand cream the larger pump dispensers of ‘hand and body moisturiser’ work just as well - it’s a bit thinner but still absorbs quickly.

Norwegian for me too. Have tried them all. O'Keefes is good too. I also rub some cuticle OIL into my hands BEFORE the handcream and that seems to work too

It’s very expensive but Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream put on at night with cotton gloves really helps, you definitely need gloves though as it is sticky and has a distinctive smell

Atrixo intensive protection cream; it comes in a tub (I would prefer a pump or tube) and I use it during the day.
I also like Liz Earle orange flower hand repair; it comes in a lovely pump bottle which I keep by my bed and use every night before I go to sleep.

I suffer with Eczema on my hands and I can tell you that O'Keefes working hands is better than any moisturiser I've ever been prescribed
