So. Now you’re all at home all day together, is there anything you do you’re scared they’ll find out about?

I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours! Grin

But I shouldn't be surprised as cheddar always looks very bleary eyed when woken up!

JonHammIsMyJamm · 31/03/2020 13:52

That I eat cake and chocolate in quite large quantities during the day. I’m having to wean myself off it. It’s annoying but is undoubtably benefitting my health Angry.

Surly · 31/03/2020 13:59

Mines not that interesting but I talk to myself a lot!
Now I'm having to keep my mouth shut incase he realises what a weirdo I am.
Also I dont do as much as I pretend I do when I'm at home. I sometimes sit and watch a crap movie eating crisps until it's time for everyone to come home.

I have discovered that DH leaves his crumbs from his toast, bagel, teacake, croissant or Danish on the plate and that one of the cats Tilly will lick them up. Shock I thought he wiped them into the bin.
I have also discovered that our other cat Charlie can sleep for 5 or 6 hrs uninterrupted.
Neither of them have a regular cat aerobics class either Grin
And finally, I have found out that DH cannot drink a glass of weak wine with lunch and stay asleep. If you can hear snoring at 2pm, it's him Grin

pussycatinboots · 31/03/2020 14:11

sorry, meant stay awake Blush
Was awake at half 3, it's been a long day!

Oh, and the sound of the binmen taking the rattly recycling doesn't wake ANY of them!!

Cordillera · 31/03/2020 14:11

Same as a PP, that I haven't wholly given up smoking. It's been 8 days and finally they've gone on a bike ride together and I am in the garden fagging it up Blush

wehaveafloater · 31/03/2020 14:31

We need a link to the S&H stuff please !!

My DH has discovered he likes working in my office. I've discovered I don't like sharing my office. Somehow we'll work it out. I think I may move my laptop into the garden if the nice weather continues !

My husband has discovered that I have a taste for reverse harem romance novels.

His response was something along the lines of "do they all support the same football team? They wouldn't get along if they didn't."

I gave him the side eye for that.

Stripeyfrog · 31/03/2020 14:44

SanFrancisco49er
i get the feeling my cats haven't realised lockdown doesn't apply to cats. one spends about 20 hours a day on DDs bed occassionally surfacing for food, and i guess a small toilet break. The other is more active as he divides his time between various beds, piles of washing and the sofa. And they are most unhappy with happyshopper catfood from the corner shop though! Grin

lborgia · 31/03/2020 14:55

What are reverse harem novels?!

My husband seems quite perplexed that I do so much, including fixing a broken washing machine today.. and that when he sees me busy from 6-9pm with chores, food, kids, it’s not that different to the proceeding 7am-6pm!! I’ve actually started taking more breaks!

We all keep pacing around muttering about chocolate. I’ve even used up the last of the cocoa powder.

Pretty sure the Covid will get me when I crack and go and get unnecessary petrol (with a side order of chocolate).

itmusthavebeencoffee · 31/03/2020 15:14

That I do sod-all most days! No kids, no job, no mortgage (inheritance) but at least before he thought I was somewhat productive before... Grin

MadCap · 31/03/2020 15:14

Iborgia they're romances where the heroine has more than one male lover.

lborgia · 31/03/2020 15:21

You see, now you say that it makes perfect sense. Interesting 🤔

BertrandRussell · 31/03/2020 15:33

wibblewobblejiggle AO3 usually.

Isn’t a reverse harem a seraglio?

@Dyrne @BertrandRussell I love a bit of Supernatural fan fiction. I even have a favourite writer who I now follow on Twitter.

That's one of my secrets, as well as how often I masturbate when working from home. The two things might be related as the fanfic is often quite smutty.

The house is full of people all the time now, when will I do it!

lborgia · 31/03/2020 15:38

Not really, because it’s just where the women could be by themselves, private quarters I think, rather than having extra blokes around Grin

LemonSock · 31/03/2020 16:58

Alas, @BertrandRussell, my fantasy of complete aloneness during the working day is fatally compromised by the presence a lively seven year old whose schooling and exercise need to be combined, semi-impossibly, with both of us WFH.

I read a fair bit of slash when insomniac. I don’t know Starsky and Hutch at all, but not knowing the source material hasn’t stopped me reading with great appreciation some very good stuff from Stargate Atlantis, and — unless I hallucinated this — a fandom based on a cop show where the cop had a partnership with a Native American sort of shaman?

I wrote LOTR RPS back a gazillion years ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth and everyone was on LJ.

Yes!.. Now they know how much I really eat! 🎂🍰🥧😁
