I’m welsh but obviously don’t speak the language (apart from little bits I remember from school). I’d like to frame a quote in welsh. Could someone help me with it please. My Nain was proper welsh and she used to call me Cariad Bach. She also used to ask me for a cwtch. How could I combine those 2 phrases in a quote that makes sense? Would just ‘cwtch cariad bach’ work? Many thanks.

My welsh is around the same as yours, OP, but cwtch is my favourite word ever Grin It just sounds exactly like what it is.

Sounds lovely.
My favourite welsh saying is “Lle i enaid gael llonydd.”

A place for the soul to find peace

I'm going to try to put that in a frame somehow.
My nan was Welsh and I can remember asking her all the time to tell us that long long Welsh place name ending in gogogoch ?

I can say that long place name! My brother taught it me once, it’s my party piece 😁
