DD and DS are bored! Have tried to order some arts and crafts things online and all have sold out.
Any ideas?

If you've got a printer there's loads of educational websites/nature sites etc with activities you can print off, our school gave us a massive list of websites. Also lots of art tutorials etc on YouTube which we've been making use of. Oh and there's always chores! Depending on age I guess. Maybe out a shout our for material on your local Facebook page. I've seen a few posts where people have offered to drop things by people's doors when out in their walks.

Can you use stuff from round the house?

Loo rolls
Cereal boxes
Sweet wrappers
Tin foil
Bits of fabric (can cut up old clothes)
Socks (sock puppets)
Stones/rocks from garden or park (can paint/decorate or make onto animals/pets and make a house for them too)
Empty plastic milk bottles

Supermarkets will have the basic stuff like paint and pens if you can pick some up with your normal shop.

baker ross?

Love51 · 28/03/2020 14:52

Amazon. DH bought mirrored card so they can make camera obscura. We've done baking with what we have in the house. Lego challenges. Painted the Northern Lights (that was school topic work though).
What age and ability are they? Are you available to help or is this for them to do while you are working?

PinkSpring · 28/03/2020 15:02

I did a bit order with Baker Ross the other day

wendz86 · 28/03/2020 15:31

I’ve ordered a couple of monthly craft boxes from baker Ross.

Peachbubble · 28/03/2020 17:05

Hawkins Bazaar?

Depending on their age ... I sell for Flamingo Paperie (formerly Phoenix Trading), we have some fab 3d papercraft kits - a sloth, a pug, a unicorn, a flamingo, a T-Rex or some flowers. Each one takes quite a few hours to make, I did the sloth and it took me about 8-9 hours?
If interested please have a look here: www.flamingopaperie.co.uk/web/joharding

I ordered some stuff from The Works this week and it arrived in two days. My amazon order isn’t coming until May apparently 😕

Pentium85 · 28/03/2020 19:07

How old are they?

We are doing diffferent daily activity using our tuff tray

preponderings · 28/03/2020 20:06

How old? When mine were younger they would spend hours painting everything in the garden. Paintbrush and a bucket of water Grin

If older, lots of origami tutorials, DD7 likes them. Also "how to draw" tutorials.
Low temp glue gun and the recycling.
