In line with the 'rules' are you allowed to sit in your car if you have a drive?

As it is private are you allowed to use front garden areas in a way that you choose. I thought I could take some work phone calls in the car as my whole family are inside and it is hard to concentrate?

Of course.

Some of DH's colleagues are sat in sheds and one in a caravan in gardens and drives as a way to get some quiet place to work.

Yes, children and husband in the car- good idea! My husband is using our bedroom as his office so we are looking at mixing this up a bit next week as I have the open plan dining table and obviously don't get as much peace.

I feel for those in a flat with no outdoor space. We were all in a a flat two years ago and it had a tiny balcony so I know what it is like.

We have had the police twice sitting outside our house today I think because it is a walk way to a woods so that aspect is entertaining but I don't think I will sit in my car when they are there.

I agree about people in flats. I belong to my local NextDoor group and as I'm self isolating have offered my front and back gardens to anyone in a flat if they are desperate for an outdoor space away from everyone for children to play or just sit in the sun but no takers so far.
