My dp is considered high risk ( heart op 30 years ago on daily meds)& is loads fitter than the average person (which I know with this virus doesn’t necessarily count )He is working from home because he can .
I am a key worker and haven’t been to work since 19th March I am due back on 28th for a shift.
We are living under the same roof with 2 kids .we all currently have no symptoms.kids are home learning at moment even though I understand I could send them into school.
All of us have been socially distancing within the home ,washing hands things down etc . Dp is sleeping in the lounge & is pretty much based there👍.
My plan for when i work ( wearing protection) is that on returning to the house i shall enter through the garage put my uniform immediately into a bag then shower etc and clean bathroom before isolating myself in the bedroom which is what I have been doing anyway .

As it stands dp has already gone mental about me taking less than an hours walk locally socially distancing ( not been out with more than 2 at a time from household) & is being quite short with the kids 😞
He is absolutely paranoid that he will die very soon . He won’t even go for a walk Himself . Where we live is not crowded generally. He wants me to move out . That would be at my elderly grandmothers 😞as I have nowhere else to go .

Both his parents and their partners are also high risk ...wouldn’t it be better for him to stay with one of them in an high risk household with his own bathroom ?
What are you able to do to make it work during this awful time ?

Tell him if you move out he'll have to look after the kids.

I think I would move out. It has to be safest for him and the children BUT I wouldn’t move in with my granny Shock

I don't think it makes sense for you to move in with your elderly grandmother Shock. I think if he is worried (understandable) your idea where he moves to dp house and they all isolate together is best. But how would that work with childcare - yes key workers kids can attend school but if you work shifts who will do the non business hours childcare. If that's the case he's going to have to risk it I'm afraid.
