I grew up with cats but don't have any now. I'm just thinking how nice it would be to have a cat or dog during lockdown.

The first photo is our cat Smudge - (somewhat) affectionately known as CatBastard because he picks on the dog - despite her being a 37kg Labrador, and him weighing 10lbs wringing wet she is terrified of him.

The second is our dog Mia, who we sadly lost in early January.

She finds the humans exhausting

This is Bella, she’s 10ish and has had a couple of homes before coming to us.

I would really like a small dog, but we live in a first floor flat and although we have access to a garden, and when we’re not in a pandemic I’m home almost all day apart from one block of 2 hours when I’m at work. I still feel it’d be selfish to get one - I’m not even sure Bella would tolerate it!!
