I think we need a lighthearted section

Am I the only one? I know you can't force humorous threads, but when one turns out just right, it would be lovely if it could be found under a specific section.

Right now you have to browse through numerous scary/sad threads to find that little gold nugget to brighten the day.

I am so so fed up of the rampant level of health anxiety and hysteria on MN at the moment. I gave it a wide berth for a week and it's no better.

My little granddaughter started trying to walk today but kept falling over with laughter. She's truly brightened my day.

I don't think they can suppress them from Trending, but you could avert your eyes and use 'Active' as your browsing start point

Totally agree. Have hidden AIBU and the CV topic, shut my eyes past the Trending box, but still the feckers are scare-mongering everywhere.

I KNOW it's scary and it's real. I am being so sensible I could get a Brownie badge in it - now can I read about something else please, ideally nice things, friendly things, funny things?
