Pregnant front line NHS staff

My trust says we have to continue working as normal (because we can’t work from home) but won’t be asked to look after any confirmed cases of covid-19, but I’m almost certain that I will catch it working in a busy ward with sick patients and their visitors etc.

I’m really worried about the implications of catching it and what it could do to my unborn baby, and bringing it home to my children and husband.

What are other trusts or jobs doing for their pregnant staff?

My Trust has told all pregnant staff they need to complete an updated risk assessment and if they don’t feel comfortable with any of the options given to reduce risk then they can go on paid special leave.

I told my manager on Tuesday night shift by email that I was pregnant. Haven't heard anything from her, thought she would have at least phoned me to acknowledge it.
Our ward has now been turned into the covid ward!
They've never been supportive of staff who are pregnant or have children, I never had a risk assessment for my previous two pregnancies. So fully expecting to be expected to carry on as normal, won't be surprised if she doesn't even mention anything about me being pregnant and working with confirmed patients.
So unsure of what to do, I can't afford not to work.

That's shit. Pregnant colleagues are at home completing any paperwork tasks we can send them here.
