In fact it would be lovely to speak to any mnetters on lockdown in Tenerife or other Canary Islands.
So many people have left our apartment block, Norwegians and Danes gone, Swedes following shortly.
I’m starting to feel like me and dh are the last brits left.

Schools are closing

I feel like the older generation has ruined the lives of the young ones

Taxi driver said one of his colleagues paid €1700 for a flight. Has his own apartment and booked one way ticket

A good nights sleep has done me the power of good.
Been in to town today to stock up on essentials for the lockdown.
It’s weird, like I’ve returned to a different country to the one I left.

Spoke to my friends still in Tenerife..they think they are coming back on April 23

We managed to scare them into action @Dowser. They've been on the phone to Easyjet all day and are trying to get a Drs appt to see if they can get prescriptions for their medicines.

If they can get the meds they could probably work something out with their hosts to stay on for the forseeable. It's not a hotel so hopefully won't have to close.

It’s been nice to have a bit more freedom here....at least go for a walk out while exercise is still allowed.
