Benign Question of the Day: How do you store your DCs friends parents on your phone?

Completely useless information but I'm still interested.

My WhatsApp feed is ParentFirstName(ChildsNameMum).

So for example Anna(KatiesMum).

Do you store them similarly so you know what child they 'belong to' or do you just put them by their name? Or like my friend do you put them down as their child's name (this will be confusing in teen years).

I just use their own full name.

MyEnormousTurnip · 10/03/2020 13:45

I just use their actual name.

I do the same as the OP. In my phone I have the person's first name, then their child's name in the surname field

Karen Grace's Mum
Fiona Anna's Mum
Chrissie Emily's Mum etc

First name Surname (Child's name)

Stephen Irene’s Dad.

I don't have any DCs but my phone is organised as I know far to many people with the same name .
So mine is listed by how I know them ie
Sports club - Gerry
Sports club - Fred

Take away - lucky cat
Take away - curry house

Work - Gerry ( adding job title if it's significant )
Work - Fred

Taxi - go ride
Taxi - callacab

I find it this way particularly useful especially if I need to send a group message out to people from one section like workmates or sports clubs as their next to each other so I don't miss anybody out
