Baby boy's bits

I'm not really sure where else to ask this and really don't want any body to judge my lack of knowledge here please. But do little baby boys (I'm talking 3 months old) willies point up at you when weeing? Everyone always tells me watch out when changing little boys as they'll have you in the face and everywhere, but my LB doesn't do that. Is this normal? I'm worried that it doesn't work properly.

They wee in their own face in my experience.

My son never did the weeing everywhere thing, he’s now almost an adult and has never had any problems.
My new grandson wees at every nappy free opportunity.
I guess it’s the same as everything else, they’re all different.

That never particularly happened to me. Maybe once?

Why are you worried though? It’s just a little joke people make about babies. You didn’t honestly think there was something wrong with your son, did you?

As long as he can urinate, everything works properly.

It’s effectively a small hose.. it’ll go where it likes. Usually it’s over his shoulder, maybe it’s to do with how you change the nappy (like angle of the leg hold) it’s also not every change or even often.. just bad timing or loosing the wipes/can’t open the nappy so they’re waiting too long.

As long as he’s giving you wet nappies it’s fine.

Depend on what brand of baby you end up with tbh.

Some do. Some don't.

Thanks guys! I know it sounds totally irrational but literally every baby boy around us does it and he never has. We've all been first time mums before and had these thoughts that start to play on your mind. You've reassured me so I can firmly put that thought away! Thanks again 😘
