Things to do in Brighton with teens

DH and I had planned a weekend away but teens have only decided they want to come too Grin

Which is lovely but changes things a bit. We would have had long walks and made the most of the bars and restaurants.

Boys are 16 &18 and not bothered about the pier/fairground. We'll be travelling by train so it needs to be fairly central in Brighton itself. Only there 2 days.

Theatre? My dh and dd go every December for a few nights and always go to the theatre, it's beautiful.

The zipwire on the beach is good fun.

Escape room was fun with my two (17)

Pier pressure

We quite like the glow in the dark crazy golf at the marina. It's good fun for an hour or so.

There is the zip wire on the front I think it's open all year but expect would be closed in high winds.

There is a treasure hunt you can buy off the internet which takes you all round town.

The north laine is good for alternative type shops.

Bus trip to beachy head and seven sisters. Quite cheap.

You could take your pick of the 5 parkruns we have and all do 5km on sat morning!

There is a good board games cafe called the Dice Saloon which is 5 mins walk from the back of the train station.

There's some delightful second-hand bookshops, if the kids are bookish. Colin Page is my favourite.

Hate to say it Leaving but i think it might have closed down as i just looked it up on google maps. Choccywoccydoodah in the Lanes has also closed which we used to like 🙁

Nooooooooooooooo.

My two enjoyed shopping and wandering around North Laine, poking about in all the vintage shops, and stopping for coffee and cake/ beer and chips or whatever at one of the many food places. DS1 is a musician and spend hours looking at guitars and drum kits.

If the weather's good, it's nice to walk along the seafront and the Pavilion is interesting, even for teens, as it's so unusual (we didn't pay to go in, just wandered round the grounds and looked at the outside)

Choccywoccy went bust Confused

We enjoyed the little train along the front and then played crazy golf there - forget the name but it was east of Brighton
