Is there any real help for OCD on the NHS?

Myds2 (22) has autism and OCD. He's been on Setraline for years (which does help his anxiety a lot) but he still has a lot of problems with his OCD, which I must admit we have pretty much just learned to live with.
His hands are very sore from over washing, and I suspect his rear end too (over cleaning) He compulsively eats paper and bits of plastic and one of his front teeth is now sheered in half (still the same length but half the depth as a chunk has come away) He over cleans his teeth too.
We see a private therapist and she helps him with his anxiety and he benefits a great deal from seeing her, BUT his OCD and pica are impacting his health.
We saw CAHMS when he was 16 and adult services when he was about 19 when he was very mentally unwell, but since then nothing. He has autism but is marginally not learning disabled enough for LD services.. we are stuck in no mans land.
He's a lovely, kind and gentle young man but he needs help. Self help books are no use as he isn't quite able enough for that.

Is ther any service out there that might help?! (We are in Oxfordshire)

IME, no. You have to pay for it privately. It's a nightmare.

My OCD was less severe in terms of physical self-trauma but I had good treatment for it through second-tier IAPT services - under the heading of CBT - we did exposure & response prevention, psychoeducation and EMDR (my OCD was trauma triggered). I think I was really lucky though. I also found going to an OCD support group really helpful (through OCD Action, it was open to family as well as patients) and I’m aware that there is a specialist OCD treatment centre in south London that you can be referred to on the NHS, some people in my support group were, they had to fight for it though and the OCD support group advocate helped them.

Sorry that was too much about me, I meant to say that perhaps OCD Action or a support group could help you find specialist treatment for your son Flowers

All IAPT services offer help for OCD as it's a type of anxiety disorder. You can self refer to your local service.
