If your first baby was early, were your second/third too?

Currently 36 weeks with second child. DD1 arrived at 37 weeks on the dot and am finding the waiting game incredibly hard already!

I know that ultimately it just depends on a lot of different factors, but anecdotally did your subsequent children come earlier or later than the first?

DC1 = 37+3
DC2 = 41

However we were in the middle of a garden renovation with DC1 and I was busy painting the fence which is probably what tipped me over the edge and resulted in an early baby!

For me DC1 was 38+2 and DC2 was 38+3.

Yes but not as early!
1 - 32 weeks (3lb)
2 - 36 weeks (5lb 9oz)
3 - 35 weeks (5lb 1oz)
I’m not very good a growing babies!

My 3 were all on the early side - the furthest I got with any of them was 37 + 3 (or possibly +4?).

But DC1 was the earliest.

No, first at 28 weeks, I was told I would never carry to full term, second was 39 weeks.

DC2 - 38+4
DC3 - 40+1

I think it really depends on the baby/pregnancy for the most part. However I do think external factors can affect things if they are extreme e.g. stress, physical exertion could potentially slow or speed things along

Yes! 1st 3 days earlier, 2nd caesarean planned a week before due date but started on morning of op. X

Was induced with ds2 at 39+6
