What can I do about a new car that is faulty

Yet the dealership denies that there’s anything wrong?
It’s a brand new car and wheel spins turning corners, rolls on slopes when it’s meant to have Hill start and is slow to pick up but will suddenly lurch.
I’ve taken it back 3 times and they keep saying there’s nothing wrong.
They’ve implied that it’s my driving and it really isn’t. I’ve had friends in the car who have agreed that it seems faulty.
I’ve been to head office who’ve just referred me back to the dealership. Third time I went to a different branch. They’ve also told me that there’s nothing wrong.
It’s so obvious there’s something wrong and I don’t know where to go from here.
Please can anyone advise?

How did you buy it?
I have successfully rejected two cars bought on a PCP as you can use the legislation relating to finance.
One was a Seat rejected for faulty LED’s and one was a VW for faulty paint. The Seat was disputed by dealer, the VW they admitted it was buggered though.

PCP but it’s been over 6 months now. We thought we’d give them a chance to sort it out.
I just wondered if there’s some avenue we could go down

Have any of the mechanics been out with you on a drive so you can demonstrate the issues, or are they just taking it in and trying to replicate what you're describing? The hill start must be an irrefutable fault of it's just not holding.

It sounds like the clutch is malfunctioning - is it manual or automatic?

ZetaPuppis · 26/02/2020 21:49

It’s automatic and no they haven’t been out with me but driven it themselves, apparently, and then blamed it on my driving as they said it drives fine.
That’s a good idea. I’ll insist they come out with me.

Sounds like you dont know how to drive it since you given no specific details of a fault.

Do you even know how to use the hill hold function?

What car/model is it?
