Been offered an amazing job, but no childcare.

I’m so upset and I don’t know what to do. Iv been offered a job doing something I currently volunteer at. It’s amazing and something I really want to do.

I can do most shifts with pre school/school etc. But the main shift is 4pm-10pm then sleep over at 7-10am.

I need some sort of childcare from 4-10pm one Friday a month as husband is on lates and finishes at 9.30.

What the hell do I do?!

Dc are 4,12,10 😩

Babysitter definitely sounds like the way forward, OP. Or could you try asking at the school, or whichever nursery etc you used before that? At our school, some of the TAs do babysitting and might be able to leave for 4pm and we've used staff from the kids' old nursery for babysitting.

Might be worth asking on any school facebook pages too in case someone knows of a childminder that would be able to do this on an ad hoc basis.
