Motion sensors (Hive/Alexa/iOS type)

I’m looking for something that will alert me by phone if my 10 yo daughter gets out of her bed.

She has epilepsy and she often gets up feeling sick as her first sign. However she struggles to tell us as she has autism. Our care plan with the hospital currently is to phone 999 as she often has trouble breathing.
She has also started sleepwalking, which is new to us. Unfortunately she started doing this just before we moved house, and now we have stairs in our home so she’s at more risk in this unfamiliar house!

We use a video baby monitor at night but I’ve been sleeping through any noise, we’re exhausted with work and the house move.
I’d be more likely to wake up to a phone notification, so thought a motion sensor might be a plan. Does anyone recommend any ?

I was looking for similar, too. Did an online chat with Hive and decided to get a motion sensor for daughters door. Unfortunately, the sensor is languishing in a drawer as the only notifications hive give you are email or push notifications, none of which wake me up during the night. If it could send an alarm noise to phone, only stopping once I've dismissed it, it would work brilliantly.
Anyways, in the meantime, I've put a wind chime on her bedroom door handle.

We have RING sensors which chime and send alarm to phone if that’s any help

We have Arlo cameras which send you a text with every movement. They are sensitive enough to respond to bees, bluetits & spiders & work in the dark.

@H1978 do you have a link?

You could use a RING doorbell pointed at her door. When the motion sensor is activated it sends a chime to my phone. Or you can get a plug in chime plug too that plays a chime when activated.

Blackandwhite have you considered looking at the equipment aimed at people with dementia?

You'll see lots of equipment that might work in your situation e.g. mat alarm, which sends an alarm to your phone when a person stands out of bed. Lots of doorway alarms that alert if a (bedroom or other) door is opened.

What about a Phillips hue sensor that detects motion and turns on a light, it doesn't have to be a light in the same room as the sensor.

Duchess that’s a really good idea, thank you! It might be more immediate
