it entirely depends on whether you want to move things around, how large the space is, how expensive the tiles and fittings you chose are.

Broadly though I generally budget for spending as much on labour as you have on the tiles, fittings, flooring, decoration etc.

My last one (a small child's en suite cost £2,500 for everything but it was a poor job). My current one is nearly finished - its the main en suite for the master bedroom (about 11sqm) and its costing £15k. So its a how long is a piece of string question really.

seriously depends on what you want. Toilet bath and sink can be anything between £350 and thousands. Tiles from pence to hundreds. then theres extras such as towel rails, showers, taps etc. Need to give us a bit more of a clue what your after

We are currently in planning stage and our quote is £18k for a total refit incl. minor change of layout which requires pipes to be laid new.

We plan to stay in the house and not do it again for the next 15-20 years so we think investing in good quality units is worth it.

You can get it done for less if you buy from places like B&Q like the previous owners of our house did but 6 years after they did it it was clear it needed a refit.

any where from £5k upwards £10k gets a decent bathroom fully tiled and electric under floor heating , grohe taps and a wall hung wc, shower and bath

Allow £70 per m for tiles £ 40 per m labour + £30 tiles and adhesive etc

If you have a wetroom make sure it is done properly

Small bathroom no change in layout nice tiles, middle of row fittings was just over £5k in Scotland. Could have gone cheaper (£3.5k) or wildly more. Saved by faking stuff to tip myself. Etc

We had family doing our labour for £150 a day.
Bought things for 3 bathrooms online, fitted aqua panels instead of tiles and lino on the floor, so trying to keep to a low budget.
We did a main bathroom, en-suite and cloakroom for £6000 for all 3.
You can also spend tens of thousands on bathrooms.

Mine was in the region of five grand

We got this exact bathroom suite for our main bathroom. It was around £500 when we bought. We laid aqua board on top of tiles, which a lot of people do and it saves mess and having to plaster again. Aqua boards cost about £300, lino £150, labour around £1500, so I would say around £3000 when we added bits and pieces like sealant, trims, plumbing bits and pieces.

Forgot the photo.
Perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s modern and clean and functional!

Just had a quote from one well known place for £6.5k, no change in layout.

We paid £2.8k last year for a full refit including floor and ceiling.

We went with wet wall rather than tiles which saved a fair bit (but I wouldn't recomend!) and shopped around a lot.

Highest price we were quoted was £7k.
