Has penii drawn in to distinguish her father and brother, from her mother and sister Grin

It's a stick figure picture she drew a few years ago in reception, and it's been on the kitchen wall since as I really liked the rainbow colours she used.

I can't believe I've only just noticed that the male stick figures also have lines for a penis Grin

DS's Y1 story about a pet.

'We have a hamster. He is called Rigby. He is cute. He has a willy and dingle dangles'

Grin My DD drew this. It's a butterfly. Obviously.

Until very recently, 5yo DD1 distinguished people by whether they had 'breasts or nipples'.

Sample convo:

DD1: There's Jemima with her mummy or daddy.

Me: Well, which is it?

DD1 I don't know, I can't see their breasts or nipples through their clothes.

Funny what they draw. In one my dd drew of our little unit, I was about 10 foot tall, ex was about 5 foot tall, dd about 2 foot tall and then our dog. Ex was far taller than me.

my first term working in early years we did space as the theme, the number of children who drew penis shape rockets was amazing, but not as amazing as the plasticine rockets a group of them made. I got very good at keeping a straight face.

That is definitely a banana MamaBear Grin

MamaBearThius · 20/02/2020 17:31

I had to keep the straightest face when my 3 year old proudly presented it to me

Bluetrews25 · 20/02/2020 17:48

Do keep it and show it at his wedding MamaBear Grin

CountFosco · 20/02/2020 17:56

DD1 drew a picture of me at nursery and showed it to me when I arrived to pick it up.

'Oh, that's a nice yellow and brown skirt I'm wearing' I said to her.
'No Mummy, you are peeing and pooing in the park'. Blush

How very transphobic Wink

Knitwit99 · 20/02/2020 18:48

I think you'll find it's actually a whole penis wearing a tutu and wings

🤣🤣
I absolutely did not see that.

PrincessSarene · 20/02/2020 18:54

'Penii': only in MN do you get a better class of plural. Smile
