Teeth whitening through the dentist

Looking for advice or feedback on getting this done. I had loads of orthodontic work done on my teeth as a teen and they’ve stayed straight but they’re quite stained. They look better after a scale and polish but never as white as I’d like. My dentist offers the service for £200 - I’m wondering if it’s worth it? Would love to hear more and see before and after photos if people are willing.

I had it done for my wedding via the dentist and was pleased with the results, looked bright but natural.

It didn't last as long as I thought it might, though, and actually it is quite uncomfortable during the treatment as it makes your teeth quite sensitive

I wanted mine done for years but always felt like spending the 200 was too much of a treat, finally decided to this year but found the price at our dentist had shot up to 450! Gutted

How disappointing 2020! I had over £3k spent on my teeth in the 90s (my teeth were a mess but couldn’t be done on the NHS), goodness knows how much that would cost now! So I kind of think £200 to get them whiter again is worth it. My dentist said they would do the initial mould and gel for £200 but I could do top ups later if I needed to. I can’t go too white because I have a crown and a bridge (done after I had the orthodontics done) to match my teeth so I don’t want them to stick out.

Museum that’s good to know, thanks!
