Downing Street refuses to confirm whether Boris Johnson thinks black people are mentally inferior to white people

Couldn’t figure out which section to put this in because it seems to go beyond news and politics.

Andrew Sabisky, the new advisor hired by Dominic Cummings has written in the past that black people have a lower IQ than white people and that this accounts for black educational underachievement (rather than racism), failing to account for the white cultural bias of IQ tests.

Anyway, the Independent has asked a Number 10 spokesman at a briefing whether the Prime Minister backed these (and other) comments, and the spokesman refused to answer.

Refused to say ‘obviously the Prime Minister doesn’t believe that black people are mentally inferior to white people’.

WTF.

I once knew this man. He is exactly like this in person, the embodiment of an internet troll. He is extremely stupid but in that awful combination thinking that he's not. I reported him to some higher ups because of how absolutely racist, homophobic and disablist he was but it was water off a duck's back. Unsurprised but horrified to see this.

Happy to see a scientist (Adam Rutherford) stepping up to correct this racist crap publicly from a scientific POV and to bring in the awful historical context. Have I missed the government actually making a statement to condemn these views though? Where is their statement against the disgustingly sexist forced contraception stuff too?

Found Andrew Sabisky's old Reddit posts today. He acted as a something of an agony aunt to posters on the site’s popular sex forum, doling out advice on rape fantasies, incest, Christianity, and other subjects.

I think he’s an old chum of Cummings. Sabisky was on the education circuit a few years back (the race and IQ thing is from back then) and Cummings was Gove’s advisor as education secretary.

I also knew Sabisky but from an earlier period I think than @CommunistLegoBloc. I shared uni halls with him and was around when he split suddenly with a girlfriend and soon after got with his wife. I can confirm too, that how he is coming across is pretty true to him.
