Pushchair for 3 year old

Taking ds to USA in April and think we will need a pushchair for him. We currently have a travel system which we've had since he was born, but it splits into 2 parts so can be a bit cumbersome when getting on and off buses etc. We think we will end up walking a fair bit, and it's not fair on him to have to walk everywhere all day. I want something I can fold up and down easily but is also sturdy enough for a 3.5 year old. I really don't want to spend much (£80 ish).

Has anyone done similar and if so what pushchair did you take?. I'm not bothered about basket space, looks, rain covers etc. It just needs to be functional. I also doubt we will use it once we get back either. We haven't used his pushchair for about a year, but I think the amount of walking will be too much for him. Ds isn't very big (probably the same weight as an average 2.5 year old - he's really skinny)

I did have a look on eBay and gumtree but the only things u could find were prams for babies and travel systems.

Any suggestions from people who have done similar.

Are you going somewhere in the US with a range of shops. On some travel forums I have seen people recommend browsing Target merchandise and reserving a pushchair there, picking it up on their 1st/2nd day, as it was easier and cheaper than buying here and transporting through the airport

If not, the silvercRoss pop has very good reviews

I'd look in a local charity shop. If you have a Fara near you, they are normally good for buggies.

Echo the silver cross pop. Large lie flat seat with a 25kg weight limit. Should easily be able to get them second hand on Facebook marketplace or the like I'm your price range (ours was £225 brand new)

The pop also has a good that comes right down over. That, coupled with the lie flat seat makes it great for naps on the go if you're out all day with a tired toddler

I got a Joie Brisk for £90, it’s rated up to 25kg and DD still fits ok in it now at nearly four. It’s not as easy to push as our proper buggy, but as a second/travel stroller it’s great. It’s an umbrella fold so ideal for travelling.
