Ok so Im not 20 any more (in my 50s) but Im active, Im not a couch dweller by any means. I have an active job with lifting, carrying, rushing around, and I have an active life with a dog to walk and gardening to get on with. So if I ache because of the lifting/carrying/rushing why doesn't my body just adapt given this is my life and has been for years? I have sore shoulders, back, neck, knees......and definitely no arthritis or rheumatism so I dont know how to calm it down. Painkillers do sod all! Any ideas anyone as to why, and what I can do about it??

One thing worked for me by way of a test; one day I took incredibly strong painkillers. Within an hour I felt normal. Try it yourself - if it works you know there's something wrong inside.

I share your pain OP. Im 48, and for the last 6 months I’ve felt aches and pains most days. What I’m finding is tat a lot of old injuries (broken fingers from 14 yrs ago which didn’t heal straight, rotator cuff tear in my shoulder from 16 yrs ago, broken wrist that was never set 25 yrs ago!) are flaring up badly. Painkillers do help, so I’m guessing it’s inflammation. My parents (70s) tell me it’s just part of getting older!

Ditto for turmeric, and one thing to note is that the supplement forms will absorb better. Specifically, hydro-soluble forms.
