Frying pan

Is it possible to get a frying pan that you don't need to use any oil what so ever? Looking for a lightweight one and willing to pay good money for one

the have some in asda, diamond i think its called. about £20/23 depending on the size you want, its fab. i use it for slimming world so no oil

Not light, but granite ones are the best imo for limited fat usage. Sometimes need a tiny spray of oil, but usually fine with none.

There's the Scoville Neverstick, cheap and light, available from Asda, Argos, Amazon and Dunelm according to Google.

I've had a small casserole type pan for a couple of years now, works great with minimal oil.

We recently got a ceramic non-stick frying pan, and you just spray the tiniest bit of oil and it cooks beautifully.

JML copper stone pan.

Yeah yeah I know JML is gimmicky tat but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
I cannot get enough of my JML pans. They really are amazing. You can fry an egg without oil.

After giving birth to a dd after 6 ds's and a thrilled dgm (having 9 dgs's) - mil announced my gift was in her car. She presented me with a frying pan.
Tefal no less..

Wink Obviously the best. *not grabby but wow, just wow... .

Ive had a tefal non stick frying pan for about 12 years now and yes it was expensive and looking a bit tatty on the outside but it still has all of its non stick and if something requires oil I just give it a light spray from a spray bottle it has paid for itself over and over

SpoonBlender · 13/02/2020 14:19

My tefal is about six years old but still absolutely non-stick and doesn't need oil. It's the middle range with the red dot, not the high end ones.

Itchyhead2020 · 13/02/2020 20:36

Thanks everyone, I did like the look of a ceramic one but wondered would it be any good. I did look at Tefal but hard to know what is a cheap one and what's a good one

I bought this one the other day as I was fed up with rubbish pans. It's amazing - nothing sticks, no oil needed and it cleans like a dream.

Itchyhead2020 · 14/02/2020 11:09

@DivisionBelles is it heavy?

OP posts:
DivisionBelles · 14/02/2020 11:25

It's not overly heavy, but it is quite solid so not particularly lightweight either. I got fed up with my lightweight one as the bottoms always seemed to warp and they wouldn't sit flat on the hob any more.

Mydogatemypurse · 14/02/2020 11:29

Yes I got a cracking one from aldi. It has a heavy base and is like a grey mottled pattern. I dont use anything. It's a little dream.
