70s kids did your mum used to wipe your face with her J cloth?

Did we even have J-cloths in the 70s? We had dishcloths - and I can vaguely recall the smell of one going across my face!

Dishcloths that were boiled regularly on the Aga.

one them traditional dishcloths always used on my face either that or spit on a hanky. goodness knows when they dishcloth was washed!
i remember too the flannels being in the bathroom for weeks drying out to a hard sheet of towel.
also mum used to wash out plastic bags and hang them on the line recycling i suppose but the bags used to be forgotten and hang on the line for weeks!
