Can anyone recommend a decent waterproof mattress protector?

Sexy title huh.

As above though, I’m due to give birth in a few weeks and would like a decent waterproof mattress topper for inevitable, errr, spills.

Could anyone recommend one? I am keen not to have one that rustles or feels sweaty

Have a look at John Lewis online. I bought one of theirs for the sofa bed little Gdcs share when staying. Quilted padding with waterproof layer underneath.
IIRC it’s the one with a lot of 5* reviews.

@GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER this is where I looked but searching for “waterproof mattress” brings up a bunch where it doesn’t say waterproof in the description of the item. Any chance you remember which one it is?

We have the kind that have a padded/towelling top and plastic backs, they are good however come out of the washing machine soaking and take an age to dry (you cant put them in the dryer or they shrink). We also have cheap waterproof toppers from Primark that are thinner but effective and much easier to wash and much preferable, in my opinion.

@shirleyphallus, pretty sure it’s the 3rd from left on top row (on the link you posted). The one with 347 reviews - it does say waterproof.

I second ikea, waterproof, washes well, isn't sweaty or rustly.
