So anxious, I just want to curl up into a ball and cry.

Hi all,
I am terrified of the wind and the wind is very high here, my Granny is the same, and I'm so worried about her. I was in her house earlier and I gave her a big hug, and she was shaking like a leaf. I'm at home now, and I'm so anxious and worried, I just want my Gran, but she lives 2 miles away on the other side of the town, and I have no way of getting to her. I'm so anxious and she will be too. What do I do?

Why is anyone scared of anything? It's nearly always irrational. It is pretty scary at this sort of speed. Glad you're not alone OP xx

It was a genuine question Waitingforciara. Just trying to understand a little better.

It depends on where you live and the surrounding environment but for some parts of the country the next 24 hours are going to be grim. I'm in one of the areas that's likely to get hit very hard - others will no doubt wonder what all the fuss was about. I'm sure we'll all be fine and I like to think that anything that's still standing after the last storm will survive this one, but it's frightening nonetheless.

Ok so now we’ve established that neither of you were alone, why do you ‘just want your gran’ so much OP? Why do you stay there once a week? I assumed it was because she was elderly and needed you but I’m thinking now that you seem weirdly over dependent on her when you have your mother in your life. How old are you and do you have a job or any friends?
