I need ideas for something I can do for me

DH has been doing his hobbies (football, squash and clay pigeon shooting) an excessive amount lately. He has also just been away on a 5 day stag do abroad and has now gone off abroad for another week with a different group of friends on an activity holiday.

I'm a bit pissed off to say the least and so when he gets home I want to take myself off somewhere for a few days and leave him to deal with the kids, house, pets etc solo, and I want a break.

I haven't got any ideas on where to go or what to do though. Preferably within the UK if poss. Has anyone got any ideas?

What do you like?

History? Cookery courses? Yoga? Cycling walking?

I’ve found a refugee cookery demonstration I want to see in lindon and thought I could book, get premier inn and take along face mask, bubbles for me and bath. Visit the year long open lido

Then borough market for lunch and a museum

Weekend away at a spa hotel. Would be hell on earth for me, but a lot of people love them!
Are you interested in sport as a spectator? If so plan some time in an area with a sporting event as the focus, so a match watching your team, athletics Grand Prix meeting, World Snooker Championships, tennis at Eastbourne etc. Watch the event, then spend some time exploring the city.
Go to London with tickets to a West End show. Enjoy the days eating well, and going to the attractions that interest you.
If I had a spare weekend, I would love to visit Liverpool. Not sure what I would do there, but I would love to go! Have also had short stays in Cardiff and Edinburgh recently, which were lovely.
Could volunteer with somewhere like the National Trust, and spend a week restoring dry stone walls, clearing rivers or whatever else they need at the moment.

What are you interested in? Do you have any hobbies? What’s your budget?

Thanks everyone! I've booked a two day break for my eldest DD and I to York in half term, so that will be some nice me time for starters.
