Advice on baby pillows?

Hi
I have a 4 month old and he wont sleep without the babymoov cosy dream pillow underneath him. Initially we got it just for when he was newborn and I've been trying to get him to sleep without it since he was 1 month old. When I take it out he wiggles his head round and cries all night until it's back in.
Does anyone know what I can do? I've tried smaller pillows but his head falls off them and I can't sleep knowing its not safe for him!
Thank you

Thank you I'm currently doing this right now. I do think this might be the problem now you've said it. He is asleep for now hopefully he stays settled.

And that's not a judgement about the wedgehog BTW! I can 100% see why you used it and that in itself was a reduction in risk - removing the risk of choking. And as he was at risk of falling down the cot, the babymoov was then a reduction of that risk. These things all have uses.

I just mean, sometimes you have to compare things in life (and certainly in parenting) rather than looking at the absolutes. For example we all know sleeping flat on the back in a clear cot is safest, but I chose to co-sleep because I felt this was a risk reduction in comparison to falling asleep sitting up while feeding, which I personally felt was a high risk for me.

Oops Xposted :) Great! I was a bit bemused by the rolled muslin advice TBH but maybe there is something in it!
