He's just got really snotty but no temp or anything. Will it be ok to take him swimming or not wise?

No, there is enough rubbish in swimming pool water without adding snot

Damntheman · 06/02/2020 17:31

Oh come on. A bit of snot is hardly the worst thing you'll find in swimming pool water.

I'd take him OP. If he's feeling alright and acting normal and the only thing wrong is a cold then it's fine.

No

ShyTown · 06/02/2020 17:44

Yes probably as long it wasn’t streams of snot. Most 1YOs are snotty most of the time especially if they’re in childcare and it’s hardly the most disgusting thing that goes in the pool- that’s what the chlorine is for after all.

Unless it was green yes.

Yes if he was well in himself; there are worse things in pools than snot and if we didn’t take DD swimming when she was snotty we’d never go in the winter. Obviously wipe his nose before you go in
